James Ball

James is a Portland-based attorney and a co-founder of Aspect Law Group. After graduating from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2003 with an Intellectual Property Specialization with Distinction, James spent the next ten years working primarily in the field of intellectual property law. In March 2014, James teamed up with Bryan Wasetis to form Aspect, with the goal of supporting artists and those in the media and entertainment industry.

Beginning in March 2020, James took a step back as a primary attorney at Aspect in order to take a position as in-house counsel at CD Baby. He remains of counsel with Aspect Law Group where he works with select clients on their intellectual property and entertainment matters.
